As a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, your input is always valued. The Congregational Council has been considering the possibilities for ministry when the ‘Dream Bigger’ campaign concludes in December 2013, and last month emailed an online survey to all members for whom we have a current email address.  If you have not had a chance to complete the survey or if you did not receive the email, please take a moment this week to complete it using the link below.

Next Sunday, May 20th is the last Sunday of Life Passages until September 9th (Rally Day).  This week the children will learn about the story of Lydia and next week they will hear about Paul and Silas.

Even though there will NOT be weekly Sunday morning Life Passages, there will be several education opportunities throughout the summer.  The first opportunity will be Saturday, June 9th.  This will be a Day Camp Preview Day/Parents Day Out.  This camp is for children who have COMPLETED Kindergarten through 5th grade only.  The Day Camp Preview is from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  The actual Day Camp will be June 25 – 29th.  Children who are 3 yrs. – PreK (must be potty trained) will attend 9:00 – noon.  For those children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade will attend 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Registrations are due by May 31st.  Contact Kate Williams at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Our next education event will be Sunday, July 8th.  On this day from 10:00 – 11:00 am, the Columbus Zoo Animals will visit.  Be sure to put this date on your calendar for a fun morning of learning about the animals that God created!

Sandy Lawson, Christian Education Director
The hospitality fractal of the Lord of Life Experience Team hosts dinner here in our Gathering Place on Wednesday evenings at 5:30.  Come and enjoy a tasty meal and fellowship and then stay for: a music ministry, a  LIFE Group, a mission ministry, a Grow ministry, a team meeting, or even more fellowship.  Our nursery is staffed for families with children under 5 years of age.

Allan Zaenger is coordinating this ministry and is looking for others with the gifts of service and hospitality to help with cooking, set up, tear down and clean up.  If you’re interested in assisting, please contact Allan.
exploring_lolThe next series is in progress now.  It's our membership course... but it's really about discovery; exploring why this church exists and whether God is calling you to join us on the journey of discipleship!  The course is led by a team of ministry leaders at Lord of Life and is designed around dialogue.  No commitment or knowledge is necessary to attend.
